I have taken numerous road trips the last couple of years. One thing I have learned is that trash is everywhere. Stop anywhere along a paved road and chances are you will encounter a piece of litter. The biggest garbage dump I've seen is along I-15 in North Las Vegas. For me, every road trip ends by returning to Tempe. Once I am home, all is okay. I like Tempe. Sadly, every time I do return home, I am greeted with roads lined with garbage. I want to Thank the Arizona Republic for keeping the trash story alive.
