I saw some fast food litter on a Saturday. The fast food litter was still there on the subsequent Wednesday. AzLitter.org did a quickie litter patrol.
It takes money to wage war on litter. One idea for raising money is to place a "litter tax" on fast food. Each take-out/drive-through order has two cents added to total cost. Example: a
$5.39take-out order would cost$5.41. The$0.02collected by the fast food restaurant would be allocated for fighting litter.humans + fast food = litter
