On 04 March 2004, the East Valley section of the Arizona Republic reported about a first grade girl who caught a Chandler city employee littering (he threw a cigarette butt out of his vehicle). AzLitter.org was impressed with this girl (and her dad) and submitted the following Letter to the Editor, which they published on 12 March 2004.
